When sickly young Henry Brixton befriends a ghost named Edwin, he discovers the world his father shielded him from – Victorian London! But as their friendship grows, Henry learns that his newfound freedom comes at a price!
The client, writer Nikolai Fomich, brought me on during the scripting phase of this magical fantasia, and I had full editorial oversight, hiring the team (with the client’s consultation and approval) and overseeing nearly step of the process, until the book was completed and handed off to the publisher. One exception is that the client brought on cover artist JG Jones through a personal relationship, though I still gave notes on potential cover layouts, and coordinated Jones’ work and the B cover by the interior artist, to ensure little overlap in content.
