A one-shot telling the origin story of new villain, The Death Ranger. I was given wide latitude to create the Death Ranger’s backstory and biographical details. I created a sympathetic, non-binary alien whose grief drove them to evil madness. The reaction from the fanbase was overwhelmingly positive, generating a massive amount of earned media.
