Tet
TEt
Writer/Letterer: Paul Allor
Artist/Colorist: Paul Tucker
Consulting Editors: Andy Schmidt, Bobby Curnow
A war-torn romance set at the height of the Vietnam War, and in the decades that follow.
“Tet is the kind of thing I’d like to see more of: a comic about something that actually counts.”
-- Garth Ennis (Preacher, Fury Max)
“Allor is the real deal - a fresh voice who pulls you into intriguing territory that doesn’t feel like what you’ve read before. When their name is on a book, should take that book home.”
-- Jeff Parker (Underground Batman ‘66)
“Tet is exactly what I want from a story about war. Not patriotism or polemics, but an exploration of people being human under the most inhumane of circumstances.”
-- Corinna Bechko (Invisible Republic, Planet of the Apes)
“A fascinating tale of one man’s loss that’s every bit as brutal and heart-wrenching as its setting. The characters will haunt you long after you’ve turned the final page.”
-- Ed Brisson (Sheltered, The Violent)
"Jaw-dropping. Nobody is doing books like this."
-- Matthew Rosenberg (What’s the Furthest Place from Here, 4 Kids Walk into a Bank)
“An engrossing noir tale about a compelling and tragically doomed trio of characters. Tet is nonetheless a must-read for fans of crime noir or war comics.”
-- IGN.com
“Meticulously created and crafted. A stark look at humanity and the effects of war.”
-- Multiversity.com
Tet was a critically-acclaimed four-issue mini-series published by IDW Publishing in 2015. It was my first collaboration with artist Paul Tucker, with whom I would go on to create Hollow Heart, an award-winning queer horror comic.
